Environmentally conscious cleaning products
REFILLABLE, COMPOSTABLE, NATURAL It is important to us at Shere Pottage that we try to reduce the impact of our every day actions on the planet. We stock cleaning products that use natural ingredients which helps to reduce contaminants in our waterways. As much as possible, our products are made from easily recyclable materials and with minimal packaging.
Plants
At Shere Pottage, we love being surrounded by greenery. We stock indoor plants and seasonal garden plants along with everything you need, (well almost everything), to display and look after them.
Dried Flowers
I am passionate about dried flowers. Not only are they beautiful but if sourced correctly, they are better for the environment than many of the fresh flowers we buy that are intensively grown and flown form other parts of the World. It is true that the current enthusiasm for dried flowers has sprung an intensive and definitely un-environmentally friendly industry using chemicals and heat drying techniques. I am doing my best to source flowers from suppliers who do not use these methods and am having a go at growing and drying some of my own. I have already made some mistakes with suppliers but I hope to learn quickly and ensure my stock is grown in the uk, air dried and not chemically treated.
Homewares & Gifts
Curating a beautiful collection is important to us but more importantly, we want the products we sell to have been ethically made. We like to support local makers but also global enterprises that ensure workers are fairly paid and have good working conditions. We are constantly on the look out for new producers and are happy to receive recommendations for ethical and sustainable enterprises.
